What a free chimney estimate covers
A free chimney estimate from us is a visit, not a number read off a list. We look at the chimney from the roof and the firebox from inside, then write the chimney repair estimate on site, with the price for each part of the job.
A free fireplace estimate works the same way. The firebox, damper, hearth or gas unit is looked at first and priced in writing, and you decide what to book.
Quotes, and the 10% offer
Most people ask for a chimney quote on the first call. We can tell you what usually drives the price, but a chimney repair quote given before anyone has looked is a guess, so ours is written after the visit.

Yes. The visit to look and the written estimate cost nothing, and you are under no obligation to book the work.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit, yes, because we look at the firebox inside as well as the chimney outside and walk you through what we find.

Same-day service is available when the schedule allows. Call and we will give you the earliest time we can honestly keep.
